Why Glass?
The fascination of glass inspires so many avenues as how one can utilize its magical properties.
Looking at this work, to date I am still not sure what prompted me to set the Calla lilies like this. Was it the shape of the tall glass straight sided container or was it because the Calla lilies had relatively straight stems (they usually have gorgeous soft curves). The lilies were a perfect diameter to the container, so I made use of the gentle tension created to hold the flowers upright.Sometimes when arranging just let your hands and the material create the end result, leave your brain out of the equation, and just play.
